Michael C. Carlos Museum at Emory University

We visited the Michael C. Carlos Museum inside Emory University two Saturdays ago. We were able to borrow the family pass from the library which got us in for free. I did not know what to expect from this museum but we were very impressed by the collection. There were art and artifacts from different regions in the world, but the most remarkable was the Egyptian collection with mummies in intricately decorated coffins. It's was strange, awe inspiring and humbling at the same time to see actual mummified people from thousands of years ago.

We went to the quadrangle afterwards. The Emory campus was really beautiful that afternoon so we had to take pictures.=)
