Mission Beach, San Diego

Image
We planned a trip to Pensacola Beach earlier this year but it didn't push through because Rich had to attend training in New York. We were looking forward to that trip (miss the beach!) so it was disappointing that the timing did not work out. So when Neil and I traveled to San Diego, we took the opportunity to go to the beach.

Seaport Village + San Diego Comic Con

We did not really go to Comic Con but were in the area while it was happening. There were so many events on site plus people in costume walking around. It was exciting but also very crowded so we didn't stay long. We made our way to Seaport Village to have lunch then headed back home. Titas. :)

Santee Lakes

Image
We spent one afternoon in July at Santee Lakes in San Diego. Neil and I traveled to attend my brother-in-law's memorial service. Spending time with family, no matter the reason or season is a blessing. We have been to this park a few times in the past but it's our first time to try the paddle boats.

Neil's 11th Birthday

We had a simple celebration for Neil's birthday, which fell on a Sunday. We went to church in the morning, had lunch at home, then went to the trampoline park in the afternoon (his choice).
