These Days

I think it was October last year when I bought tickets for Disney on Ice. We've never taken the kids to this kind of show before and I knew it would be special. We didn't tell them until a couple of days before the show. Richard was out of town on this day and had to summon my courage to drive the unfamiliar distance to the venue. Success! We had great seats with excellent view, 6 rows from the front. It was fun. :)

We signed Neil up for choir this year and their culmination concert was on April 24. This is his first year joining the choir at church and I just appreciate that he willingly tries new things. Plus getting to see your kids perform on stage is always a treat. :)

I'm making it an annual tradition to take family pictures on Easter Sunday. This is our 2019 version. 

Daniela is 4! Can you believe it? We decided to switch it up this year and hosted children's birthday party for her. In previous years, we had our friends in a mostly adult party or just the family so this was something new for Ela. We chose Gymboree because she used to attend classes there so she's familiar with the place and she has lots of good memories there.

Daniela is part of the 3yo choir at church. They practice on Wednesdays and had their big Easter concert on April 14. Richard was out of town and Neil wanted to stay home so it was just Ela and me. I loved the one-on-one time with her. There were Easter activities for young kids after the concert and we tried to check out as much as we could. She enjoyed the puppet show, animals and bubbles.
