PDK Airshow

Image
This is our second year attending the Peachtree-DeKalb Airshow. It was on June 10. We were there from 3-5PM, which was relatively late but it worked out because there were fewer people and we still saw some good flight tricks (save the best for last).

Train Concert

Image
I watched an awesome concert by Train last June 2 at Lakewood Amphitheather. When I saw they were coming to Atlanta, I asked my Pinoy friends if they were interested and 8 of us ended up going. It was a great night of music and we were up on our feet for the most part. The opening acts were OAR and Natasha Bedingfield. Super sulit!

Summer Basketball Camp

Image
Rich signed Neil up for his first basketball camp earlier this month. This is his first time doing basketball camp or any team sport. I changed my work hours so I could see him on the final day of camp.

Strawberry Picking at Southern Belle Farm

Image
We went strawberry picking on May 27 at Southern Belle, the same farm we visited last year. Ela is old enough to pick this time and she really enjoyed it. Also a first time experience for my parents. :)

Coolidge Park in Chattanooga, TN

Image
Our next stop in Chattanooga after Rock City and lunch was Coolidge Park by the Tennessee River. It's a beautiful, expansive park. We spent most of our time at the splash pad (came prepared) to counter the heat. Ela and I also went for a ride on the antique carousel. Chattanooga, May 26

Rock City in Chattanooga,TN

Image
For Memorial Day weekend, we went on a day trip to Chattanooga, TN. Our last trip here was 3 years ago on our second week in Atlanta. This time, it's with Ela and the grandparents. We skipped Ruby Falls and Incline Railway this time, but Rock City was worth a second visit.
