California Science Center

We visited the California Science Center while in LA. The retired space shuttle Endeavour is on display there, plus a host of permanent and temporary disexhibitions. Entrance to the center is free but some of the exhibitions require a fee. Pompeii was already sold out for the day but we still had enough to see for one afternoon.

Educational hands-on displays.

Endeavour was huge. I couldn't get the whole thing in one frame.

Rich, Neil and I stayed back to watch the Galapagos 3D movie on IMAX, which was a visual feast aside from being educational. We walked to the Rose Garden and Natural History museum to pass the time, then went back to the CSC for the show.
