InterContinental Hotel's Cafe Jeepney Buffet

We had dinner at the InterContinental Hotel's Cafe Jeepney Monday night.  I bought 5 vouchers months ago from Ebay.ph Kuponan at 50% off.  Since I already knew Papang and Mommy were visiting, I grabbed the deal.  It would our one big dinner during their trip.

Richard and I are also celebrating our wedding anniversary so the plan came together.  The intent was to have the dinner on April 24, but they didn't have buffet on that particular Sunday (Holy Week) so we decided to go April 25 instead.  (It pays to call and reserve!)  We were there before 7PM and stayed just before 9AM.  As a group, we tried a little of almost everything.

Food! We didn't try any of the breads at all.
Overall, the food was good.  There are enough choices to satisfy (not overwhelm) everyone - grilled food, sushi, salads, pasta, and desserts.  It was relaxing and pretty laid-back dinner experience.  Probably because it was a Monday and only a few tables were occupied.

I think this is a bit overpriced if you have to pay P1616 but a good deal at 50% off.  This family doesn't eat a lot so it still was not very sulit for us as well (vs. ordering ala carte in a restaurant), but the experience of sharing a meal with family made it worth it.  Special dinner because the parents were visiting.=)

Btw, kids below 4yo eat free.  Neil just had a little of the salmon and fried rice.  He was well-behaved most of dinner which gave all of us time to enjoy our food.  Then he got bored and wanted to walk around the restaurant and hotel lobby.  By then I was done eating so it's all good.

We took a few photos at the lobby.

About the vouchers, I did not have any trouble with them at all.  I just gave them the printouts and signed the tab at the end of dinner.  Easy breezy!
