Neighborhood Parks

We finally moved out of the corporate apartment to the the rental.  It took us several days and many back-and-forth trips on the car but it's finally done.  I am especially proud of Rich and I assembling more than 10 pieces of furniture (tiring but fun!) and Neil for being such a trooper throughout the transition. We have the basics in the new place but it's still sparsely decorated. I want to accessorize a bit more before doing a house tour.  Soon!

For now, I want to share one thing I really appreciate about being here.  Parks.  Here are a few we've checked out that are within short driving distance.

Murphey Candler Park.  This was the very first park we visited, on the same day we went to Piedmont Park.  We didn't stay long the first time, but we've since gone back with Neil's bike two more times.  There's a trail that goes around the lake and many baseball fields, too.

Dunwoody Park.  We didn't stay long here because there wasn't a good trail for biking.  It would have been nice to explore the woods but it was getting dark so that's something for next time.

Brook Run Park.  The most kid-friendly and so far, our favorite.  Good biking/walking trail, a skate park, and playground for kids.

Blackburn Park.  Richard and Neil went there once but because I wasn't around, there are no pictures. :S
7/16 Update: We were there on 7/12 and here are some pictures.=)
