Neil at 10 Months
Neil turned 10 months old last Thursday! Two more to go before he leaves babyhood and becomes a toddler...*Big sigh*
Current Stats:
Neil's bedtime is 8pm and he wakes up before 6am. Actually we don't know exactly what time he wakes up because when Richard's alarm goes off at 6am, Neil's already awake. He just plays with his toys, walks around the crib, basically entertains himself while waiting for the parents to wake up. :) Bait no? But when Richard or I get up, he expects to be carried or moved to the big bed. Otherwise, he cries.
His new favorite things to play with are the remote controls. The RCs are placed near the TV and he really goes for them the moment we put him down on the mat in the living room. He likes the area near the TV not only for the RCs but because he can also stand holding on to the TV cabinet. This is where he practices standing without support. He does that a lot these days. It will be fun when he starts walking and running. That way I can get more exercise. :)
Current Stats:
- Weight: 22.5 lbs
- Height: 30 inches
- Teeth: 8
- Standing for a few seconds without support.
- Handing over the object he's holding if you prompt him by saying "Give." I thought it was just a fluke initially but I tried moving my hand in different positions (left, right, up, down) and he does give me the object. :)
- Waving.
- Clapping.
