Bodies of Water
This was a last minute laag that we decided to do before leaving for Manila. On Sunday, Dec 30, we went to a beach in Linamon, a spring near Timoga and then to the Ma. Cristina Falls. That's 3 bodies of water in a day!
These photos were taken at the beach. We had lunch there, a few took to the water and then we left for Lawis. Neil enjoyed playing in the sand. He used to not like the sensation on his feet but I'm glad those days are over.=)
Can you believe that? Entrance is P2.00! But there was nobody collecting fees so it was free for us, including the use of the cottage.
Then we drove close to the Timoga pools and walked to Lawis. That's the trail in the pictures below. It's uphill going there but very manageable, even for Neil.
Then you descend to this.
They have built cottages on the side (P100 rent for the whole day). It was refreshing. The water was cool and clear. We all enjoyed it.
The water is too deep for Neil so we took turns in holding him.
Kids were selling yummy marang straight from the trees for P10.
I would recommend Lawis over the Timoga pools if you prefer less people and more nature. =) Next stop/post (uy, anagram) is the Ma. Cristina Falls.
