Beijing 2014: 798 Art Zone

798 Art Zone, or Dashanzi Art District, is a part of Dashanzi in the Chaoyang District of Beijing that houses a thriving artistic community, among 50-year old decommissioned military factory buildings of unique architectural style. (Wikipedia)

For our last day in Beijing, we made our way to 798 Art Zone. It was quite far, via train and bus, but we were not in a hurry.  There are many galleries and cafes as well.

We spent part of the afternoon at this pizza place.  This Chinese musician sounded a lot like Bob Dylan.=)
