This is what life is like lately... I get up before 7AM, even if I go to bed anywhere between 1AM and 3AM. Yup, I can never sleep in because it's too bright and my housemates are up and about. My sleep has suffered lately because we are rushing important tasks at work and I can't predict what time I can leave for the day. Mornings are all about Neil getting ready for school. Bath and breakfast needs to be done by 8AM. Typically, Richard will drive him and yaya to school in the mornings, but on Wednesdays, I take them via taxi because Rich leaves early (number-coding). We would have lunch at home and then I take my nap before going to work at 3PM (or as soon as I can muster enough willpower to get out of bed). I have been struggling with gett...
Reading Habits and Book Formats . Where and how do you read? Can you read anywhere and everywhere, or do you need a certain place/mood/state of mind to get reading? I feel it's a waste of precious trees if they are not shared with others. So I started a Google doc at work where the team can list down their collections and anybod...

With the kids, it has been awesome/bittersweet to see how much they've grown. However, some things are not sufficiently captured by notes on a planner or pictures -- state of mind, current perspectives, events, challenges and inspirations. A friend's blog post linked on Facebook prompted me to revisit this site and consider its future. In the past, this was my way of documenting events primarily for me and eventually for the kids to look back on. I think that will continue, but maybe inject more stories here and there. Also, I spend too much time online scrolling mindlessly through people's posts. This will help me sh...
