Sunshine Kitchen and Zhu Kitchen

We enjoyed our first time at Sunshine Kitchen last year so when Dealgrocer posted a deal for Brunch and Bellinis, I got 2!=)  And as usual, we had to be reminded that the deals were almost expiring before we used them last Saturday.  We went straight to BGC after Neil's Enopi class.

We got there a little after 11AM and only 2 other tables were occupied.  Eventually it was a full room, expiring vouchers most probably. =)

The deal was:
Choose 2: Portobello Mushroom Melt, Southern Style Crabcake Benedict or Breakfast Pizza (Bacon and Egg).
Choose 2: Huevos Rancheros, Truffle Mushroom 2 Egg Omelette or Peach French Toast with Chocolate Caramel Sauce and Creme Anglais.
Unlimited bellinis, mimosa and champagne

Southern Style Crabcake Benedict

Breakfast Pizza (Bacon and Egg)

Truffle Mushroom 2 Egg Omelette

Peach French Toast with Chocolate Caramel Sauce and Creme Anglais

All I can say is, egg overdose!  We liked everything.=) We ordered extra rice for Neil and he got most of the crabcake. The appetizers looked small but we were satisfied by the meal, even if three of us shared the food.  Tama lang.

In the evening, we went to another kitchen.  Zhu Kitchen naman.  We don't usually go restaurant hopping during the weekends but we had meetings and our helper was on leave.  We had to meet folks from church at McDonald's in BGC, which was next to Zhu.  Their prices seemed reasonable so we went in for dinner.  We were the only diners that evening, until they closed.  Food was ok.=)

We had a long day and Neil was able to keep up.  He had Enopi class in the morning, then we had lunch at Sunshine Kitchen.  We went home for a quick rest, then off again to Greenbelt for our weekly VG (discipleship group) at 4PM, then BGC for dinner at Zhu and finally a meeting with the other VG facilitators at 7PM.  I think we were home past 10PM na but it was a good afternoon/evening with spiritual family.  Thankful to God for making our lives intersect with theirs.=)
