Weekend Recap: Birthday Party, The Lego Movie

We had a busy weekend, Saturday in particular, because of many appointments made more challenging by not having the car.  I think it might take at least one more week to get it fixed.

Neil has Enopi on Saturday mornings.  After his session, we walked to Cityland to get ID photos taken at Kodak.  They were closed so we decided to go to Glorietta instead.  We took care of that errand, bought a gift for Neil's classmate who's party we were attending in the afternoon, and bought tickets for evening screening of The Lego Movie.

"Neil, can you stay here while we go to the toy store?" "Ok, Mommy."
Of course not. =)

We were all tired after that so we decided to take a nap, even if it would surely make us late for the party, which was supposed to start at 3PM.  Neil and I arrived at the Maxims pool at 4PM.  The party did not officially start yet so we were good.=)

Very nice pool!  We actually brought clothes for swimming but none of the other guests shared the idea.  Attendees were asked to swim after the program but by then it was late we had to leave to catch the movie in Glorietta.

The birthday girl.

We caught up with daddy, Ninong Caloy, Ninang Charm and Eli at the Glorietta foodcourt.  Neil had an unplanned change of clothes because he spilled water on himself. We rushed to SM and got him a complete set of outfit.  Shorts P225, shirt P175, briefs P200+. Comfort: priceless.=)

Fun movie.  "Everything is awesome!"

On Sunday, we attended service at VCF Makati.  We usually attend at Fort but because we don't have the car, this was more convenient.  Have you heard a foreigner sing Halik?  This intermission was so much fun.

Look! A supertree in the Greenbelt. Neil remembered this from the Singapore trip.

We had an enjoyable lunch at Via Mare. Thank you, Deal Grocer.=)  Thumb wrestling while waiting for the food.
