Lenten Weekend 2013
For this year's Lenten weekend, I completely went off the grid (work-wise) and spent 4 days of R&R with family. Even though I know I would have a big list of things to do when I get back, I resisted the temptation to check emails because I wanted to focus on what matters more.
The family stayed in Makati the whole time but we had activities everyday that kept us occupied. On Thursday, Rich's family visited us at the condo and we all went swimming. On Friday, we went to BGC for Walkway, had lunch at PF Chang's and hung out at Fully Booked. On Saturday, we did groceries and went swimming again. Then on Sunday, we attended service at VCF, went to Glorietta/Greenbelt, and watched the Jars of Clay concert at BGC in the evening (next post).
Here's the Easter album!
Thursday. Hello, family!
This kid loves the water. The Speedo arm floaties turned out to be a good investment. He can move a lot more freely.
Friday. Walkway at BGC. Em and I did all the stations, including this one where we carried the cross.
Lunch at PF Chang's.
The bookstore (Fully Booked) is his favorite hangout.
Sunday. Lunch at Pepper Lunch Greenbelt after attending service at Victory Fort.
