Christmas in Iligan

This is our digital Christmas card this last year.

As usual, we spent the Christmas vacation in Iligan. We were late in booking the tickets so flights on days before December 25 were already very expensive.  We booked for December 25 itself, which is still fine because we still made it to the big annual Christmas dinner at home.

It was our first time to land at the new Laguindingan airport.  A big improvement compared to the old airport in Lumbia airport and closer to Iligan as well which is more convenient for us.  Mommy, Manong, Ate Girlie met us at the airport and we drove to Iligan right away.

Happy anniversary, Papang and Mom! Happy birthday, Manong!  We have two family celebrations aside from Christmas itself.

Always great to see relatives from both sides.

Nang Lani joined the celebration via Skype.=)

On December 26, we went to Timoga Springs because Dets wanted to take Zoey swimming. I have not here since 2008, I think.  It's still a popular place to hang out and relax for Iliganons, much more so this season because it was incredibly hot.

Timoga is 2 jeepney rides away from the house.

Everyone except Papang who was watching our stuff and Rich who took this picture.

There's really no place like home.
